Guitar, percussion, singer, songwriter. Pete Thomas performs original music, solo and in various ensembles. Earthly, melodic........ music of the world.

He showed an early interest in music via an old guitar kicking around the family home. At least until it was chopped up for firewood! Some years later, another guitar was bought, drumming was taken up, songwriting was commenced...........music was gotten into.

He was a founding member of the acoustic folk style band, Mendala. Pete has also played in duos and small ensembles delving into many different musical worlds. 

He also formed the seven piece BlueSaltBand to highlight the jazz / groove / blues influences in Pete's music.

Acoustic groove, blues, jazz, funk, folk, gospel, roots and world. Pete's music tastes are wide...and his music embraces it all, his songwriting is as varied as his music.

From the beautiful Northern Illawarra region south of Sydney, Pete in recent times has been playing solo in venues and festivals, writing and recording.
